The hotel is situated opposite Charlecote Manor and Park, where Shakespeare is said to have poached deer and is set in its own charming gardens. Leisure facilities include an outdoor heated swimming pool (summer only), tennis court and children's play area. It is ideally situated for visitors to the area and has a welcoming atmosphere with friendly and hospitable service. Discounted tickets are available for entry to Warwick Castle and Charlecote Park.

By Car (from the M40 motorway):
- Leave the M40 motorway at junction 15 and take the A429, following the signs for Cirencester and Stow-on-the-Wold.
- Drive through the village of Barford and 2 miles (3.2 km) out, take the right turn, following the signs for Charlecote.
- The hotel is opposite the church in the village.
By Air:
The hotel is approximately 18 miles (30 km) from Birmingham International Airport. Taxis are readily available from just outside the airport.
By Train:
The hotel is approximately 5 miles (8 km) from Stratford-upon-Avon railway station.
